Hi. I am "ElAmigoJeff" (that's my user ID), and I uploaded my first presentation today. Once I organised my script (content), narrating was a breeze! Thank you for making it so easy. Hi. I am "ElAmigoJeff" (that's my user ID), and I uploaded my first presentation today. Once I organised my script (content), narrating was a breeze! Thank you for making it so easy.
There's a couple of suggestions here:
1. It would be nice if - in addition to uploading videos - this service also allows uploading audio files (mp3s). I wanted to include a small introductory music clip with my presentation, but I found that there is no such facility at SlideSix. That would be really cool.
2. There should be a facility that allows registered users to download the presentation in flv format. Why? For back up purposes. I'm using my presentations to place them in my site. If you guys one day stop your service, how do I recover the nice flash presentations? (I hope you don't go belly up, but one must be prepared for anything).
Once again, thank you for this splendid service.
I'll be uploading more presentations soon. This was only my first one, and I know I have a lot to improve. But doing it was fun.
Cheers,
El Amigo Jeff

Show author's name in dialog when hovering slide search results (in addition to title/description).
UPDATE: PLEASE IGNORE "IDEA" :) I just noticed that hovering the top edge provides slide navigation/jump tools. Great! Allow better slide navigation by providing a text box to type and jump to a specific slide number (and showing current slide, e.g., "5 of 32"). Also, buttons to jump to first/last slides might be nice. Problem is, when you get near end of slide show and want to jump back to beginning or very early slide, ...more »

Allow better slide navigation by providing a text box to type and jump to a specific slide number (and showing current slide, e.g., "5 of 32"). Also, buttons to jump to first/last slides might be nice. Problem is, when you get near end of slide show and want to jump back to beginning or very early slide, you have to click "Previous" many times in a row (or reload the slidesix.com page to "reset" back to start -- silly workaround).

User/Group pics give a false 'invalid file type' error when Mac users select a valid file.
It would be great if one of the presentation sharing sites allowed a user to actually conduct a live presentation where others could log in to watch... It would be like a goto meeting but limited to a presentation that had previously been uploaded to your site.
Hello Infrastructure klooper assign in prejudice of my english jer, buti danged willing re articulate .
I am looking for a way to share presentations to clients with audio. This looked like a great idea but none of my pictures came through with the presentation. It was already compressed as a pdf so size should not have been an issue. Too bad, this looked like it had everything I needed.
Guys - because the owners of Slideshare appear to have gone MIA, especially when it comes to fixing the slidecast audio syncing there is a huge opportunity for you to add that feature (allowing someone to sync an audio track with their slides instead of recording audio per slide). You would see a huge amount of conference presentation traffic switching to you from Slideshare.

Our network proxy requires authentication to upload files via flash, this causes browser to hang requiring full restart of web browser.
Ulitmately, we cannot upload files using flash. This is not just your app, but it is a blocker for using your service.
Could you provide a non-flash upload mechanism?
prezi.com support like google docs maybe http://prezi.com/t44zr-kazhcv/cfunited-2010-coldfusion-on-wheels/
I'd like the ability to turn off commenting on our presentations. 99% of the comments are junk...people trying to sell or malware links...

Would you do an advert for my company, PROFITROUNDS and we share the revenue from the sales 50/50 instead of std advertising cost to me only. This revenue share will be much more profitable to you. For Example, POGA.com was made the same offer over 7 days at Christmas
and calculated to achieve over $9.000 per day! See below: The stats representing players on-line on these 3 Pogo sites as at GMT13.30 on Dec13, 2011 were as follows
• USA 83697
• CANADA 84776:
• UK 79485
THIS IS A GRAND TOTAL OF 247958 on-line players. If we look at a 1 in 500 conversions per day (which is 0.2%) we will have at least a daily conversion of 495 sales per day! For the next 7 days to Dec 20 we therefore have a total payout to you of 495x20 or $9,900 per day or US$ 69300 in 7 days.
The tracking of all your sales will be done as the sales proceed so you can check the stats through our tracking system at www profitrounds.hasoffers.com
.If you reply today I will send you the proposed advert for the English speaking POGO sites.
